Q. What are your letting days?
A. We rent out our cottages and lodges on a weekly and part weekly basis. This can be either Friday - Friday, Monday - Monday, Monday - Friday, or Friday - Monday.
Q. What is included in the price of the self-catering accommodation?
A. Everything! Including water, linen and electricity. You also get a welcome basket on arrival. This contains all the essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and bin bags plus a few extras! You can also benefit from 1 hour every day in our heated, indoor swimming pool. This pool is not shared so you can enjoy it all to yourself!
Q. What is included in the price of the B&B?
A. Included in the price is a continental breakfast, which is delivered to your room in the morning at your requested time. Any electricity you use during your stay is also already included in the price.
Q. How and when do we pay for the self-catering accommodation?
A. Once you have decided to book we require 25% deposit, which can be paid by credit/debit card or cheque. The remaining balance is due no later than 56 days before the start of your holiday.
Q. How and when do we pay for the B&B?
A. At the time of booking your room we require 50% deposit, which can be paid by credit/debit card or cheques. The balance needs to be paid on arrival.
Q. When will I receive my booking confirmation?
A. Once we have received your information and deposit we will send you confirmation of your booking. You will also receive your receipt for the deposit, our terms and conditions, directions and any other information we may feel you need.
Q. Are there any other charges?

A. There will be an extra charge if the accommodation is not left in the same state of cleanliness and repair in which it was found. If breakages or damages occur there will be a charge to repair or replace the item(s).

A charge of £2.50 per yellow waste bag will be made. Somebody in reception must be informed of the total number of bags left behind prior to departure. Guests who leave yellow bags behind without informing reception will be fined £500.

Pets staying in self-catering accommodation will be charged £40 per week or £20 per part week (Maximum of 2 pets please) Pets staying in the B&B are charged at £10 per stay.

B&B guests have the use of the private swimming pool at a reduced rate of £10 per hour.

Extra fold out beds can be provided for £12 per night (this includes a continental breakfast for the B&B guests)

High chairs and travel cots are free of charge.

Hoists, slings, cot sides, shower chairs and commodes are free of charge.

Q. Is bed linen supplied?
A. Bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided and prepared for your arrival. Self-catering cottages are cleaned on a weekly basis; this includes clean bedding and towels. Bed and Breakfast rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, changing towels daily and bedding weekly.
Q. Are pets welcome?
A. Pets are more than welcome to come and stay but we do ask you to keep them under control at all times. They must not foul the accommodation.
Q. What time can I check in?
A. You can check into your accommodation from 3pm. If you would like to check in earlier this may be possible but needs to be confirmed on booking. Please confirm your time of arrival by telephone or e-mail a few days before you arrive.
Q. What time do we have to check out?
A. You need to depart your accommodation by 10am and take the key back to reception. Alternatively you can post the key through the letterbox at reception.
Q. What facilities are in the cottages/lodges?
A. There are lots of facilities in the lodges and cottages and they include: Radio/CD Player, TV and Video, Iron and Ironing Board, and a Hoover. In the kitchen you can benefit from fully equipped cooking utensils, washing/drying machine, cooker and hob, toaster, microwave and fridge/freezer. We also provide a box of toys for the children.

Please note; Kyte and Kestrel Lodge also have a dishwasher.

Q. What happens if I need to cancel/change my booking?

Q. Where are the nearest Shops/Pubs/Hospital?
A. The nearest shops are only 5-10 minutes walk; this will bring you into the town centre. You will find a variety of shops including hairdressers, clothes shops, banks, butchers, florists and a bakery. You will also notice a selection of pubs! There is also a farmers market every Monday.

The local doctors who we are registered with are also situated in the town centre. Our nearest hospital is the John Radcliffe in Oxford. This is about 20-30 minutes drive. We will be more than happy to help you find your way around the surrounding areas and attractions.

Q. What is included in the breakfast?
A. Our continental breakfast includes cereal, fruit, a hot item (such as toast, croissants, muffins etc) jams and butter, yoghurt, and juice. There is also an option of fresh coffee or tea.
Q. Are B&B users allowed to use the pool?
A. You are welcome to use the pool at a reduced price of £10 per hour. Our pool is private for you to enjoy all to yourself. It is also indoors, heated and has the facility of a hoist in the changing room and a dipper in the pool (For disabled guests)
Q. Do you have any family B&B rooms?
A. We have twin and double rooms. We can provide an extra fold up bed for one more person, which brings the room up to the maximum occupancy number of three. We can also provide a travel cot for the room if this is required.
Q. What facilities are in the B&B rooms?
A. All the rooms are en-suite with showers or baths. They have a hospitality tray, colour TV, towels and toiletries. You will also receive your own front door key so you can come and go as you please.
